A Los Angeles fundraiser for President Obama on Sunday, October 7, 2012, featured George Clooney, Stevie Wonder, and singer Katy Perry who performed while wearing Minx nail fashion with Obama’s image.
Katy tweeted a close up photo of her nails on Sunday night with the caption, “Appropriate Nails.” The Minx solid nail fashion was applied by Los Angeles-based celebrity nail stylist Kimmie Kyees, who has created countless custom Minx looks for Katy, including Minx nails with images of Russell Brand for the 2010 VMAs, and Oompa Loompa nails Katy wore for her Willy Wonka-themed 25th birthday party. Kimmie has provided custom Minx nail fashion for celebrity clients including Fegie, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna, who recently wore a “Money Minx” manicure to the last month’s VMAs.
