The majestic 1830s harbour-side house, which has recently undergone refurbishment, played host to a select group of media representatives who gathered for an intimate breakfast launch of Youngblood’s latest makeup offerings.

Guests were invited to try the luxurious Mineral Radiance Crème Powder Foundation, the latest addition to Youngblood’s comprehensive line of foundation formulas. The dual-finish foundation combines the benefits of a liquid and a powder foundation in one, thanks to the superior coverage capabilities of the powder and the weightless, dewy finish of a liquid. A combination of marine and algae extracts simultaneously hydrates and protects the skin from oxidative stress, while linoleic acid and spent grain wax help to combat the signs of redness.

Jo Peacock of Youngblood also introduced Youngblood’s first foray into the skincare arena, which she added was “more a case of makeup with benefits”. Eye Impact Quick Recovery Eye Cream, is a hydrating, illuminating cream with the added benefits of algae extract, goji berry and vitamin B3 to perk up tired eyes and act as the perfect base for Youngblood makeup.

The third and final product launched on the day was Champagne Ice Lip Gloss to naturally plump the appearance of the lips with portulaca pilosa extract and candelila wax and sunflower oil. The beautifully versatile shade suits all skintones.

Guests enjoyed a beautiful breakfast with stunning views over Watson’s Bay and were then invited to a professional colour match so they could try the latest foundation formula.
