Leading makeup artist, Leslie Graham created a perfectly, pretty look using jane iredale Australia latest colour collection. This beautiful selection of pastel hues and vibrantly, pigmented shades can be used to create iridescent washes of colour for a subtle ethereal effect or layered for a richer, deeper finish. Leslie Graham explained how to recreate the looks using the jane iredale collection.
Step 1
Prep clean skin with Smooth Affair Primer applied with Blending brush to prime, moisturise and add radiance to the skin.
Step 2
Glow Time full coverage mineral BB cream in #7 applied with Foundation brush.
Step 3
Apply In Touch Cream Blush in Connection to the apples of cheeks with Foundation brush.
Step 4
Apply PurePressed base in Warm Sienna lightly with Handi brush.
Step 5
Brush and groom brows with Deluxe Spoolie, fill with Bitty Brow kit in Brunette using the Angle Definer brush. Apply Oyster as a base all over eyelids with Deluxe Shader brush.
Step 6
Sweep new PurePressed Eye Shadow in Hush over the entire eyelid. Then add new PurePressed Eye Shadow in Dreamy Pink into the contour with a Crease brush. Line the eyes with a thin line of Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner in Onyx next to lash line with Angle Brow brush.
Tip: With the eyes open, look at the amount of eyelid showing to determine how wide to apply your eyeliner.
Apply new PurePressed blush in ‘In Love’ with a Dome brush. Add Just Kissed lip plumper in ‘Forever Pink’ to lips.
Step 7
Apply Longest Lash Mascara in Black Ice (featuring new Mascara brush). This was the collection of our first look — a nice natural day look.
Step 8
Apply Forever Pink lip stain.
Tip: Applying mascara with the square side of the Eyeliner/Brow brush will allow you to get the product into the root of the lashes and distribute freely.
Step 9
Apply New PurePressed eyeshadow in Red Carpet into the eye contour with the Eye Contour brush and as a blush at temples and cheekbones with the Chisel Powder brush.
Lips changed to nude by blotting the lip stain and adding a little Glow Time BB cream #7 over the lips with a Foundation brush.
Step 10
Sweep New PurePressed eyeshadow in Royal Velvet under the lower lash line with a smudge brush. Blend new PurePressed eyeshadow in Violet Eyes under Royal Velvet to add impact.
Tip: Spritz your brush with one of our Hydration sprays (D20, Balance or Pommisst) to increase the intensity of the colours.
Tip: The Smudge Brush and Mini Dome brush are great tools for blending and creating a smoky look.
