Napoleon’s ‘Make Me Over Day’ fundraiser a success

On February 12, 2010, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics raised over $16,000 towards awareness, education and funds for Ovarian Cancer Australia with its national in-store event, Make Me Over Day,

For one day only, at 56 stores around the country, customers booked in for a full makeover and paid only half the price ($40), with $20 donated towards the charity.

From the 832 makeovers booked, the company raised over $16,000 for Ovarian Cancer Australia. The company reports that Napoleon Perdis store staff rallied behind the cause to get bookings into the double digits, and customers responded enthusiastically. Napoleon Perdis Makeup Experts sold 271 teal ribbons and over 240 Auto Pilot Lip Service products, both of which raise additional funds for the charity.

From February, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics is contributing the net proceeds of every Auto Pilot Lip Service sold at one of its concept stores to Ovarian Cancer Australia.

Napoleon Perdis Core Creative team member, Tannia Tiropanis, does the makeup for Ovarian Cancer Australia NSW ambassador, “Mrs. World Australia”, Carin Hillman-Varma, at Sydney’s World Square store.
