At this year’s MBFWA (Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia), Gorgeous Cosmetics took the opportunity to sponsor the Style Hong Kong fashion show. The decision was made following Gorgeous’ recent successful launch into the Asian market. The fashion show featured four of Hong Kong’s most prestigious designers and their latest collections.

Gorgeous Cosmetics' senior makeup artist, Samantha Tonkin, directed an elite and talented team of 10 Gorgeous Cosmetics makeup artists at Fashion Week, working alongside Redken Hair to complete an elegant look for 28 models.
The makeup look needed to be suitable for all four designers in the group show, so the Gorgeous team created a simple yet striking look, complete with perfect skin, softly blended winged eyes and pink glossy lips, contrasted with strong contouring and defined brows.

Favourite products backstage were Gorgeous Cosmetics Base Perfect Foundation, for its ability to give a flawless coverage, which looks like liquid silk on the skin; Gorgeous Cosmetics iINK Liquid Eye Pencil and Gorgeous Cosmetics iLine Liquid Eyeliner Pen, which combined, makes the perfect winged liner; and Gorgeous Cosmetics Brush #028, which is perfect for contouring cheekbones, brow bones and collarbones.
With only two hours to perfect hair and makeup on all models, it was all hands on deck to ensure everything ran smoothly. With the designers, stylists, hair and makeup teams, plus media backstage, it was a full house with high energy levels and a fast-paced (but always glamorous!) atmosphere.
