In one of the most selective competitions in the industry, the Australian Bride Industry Academy (ABIA) holds its prestigious Award Ceremony, Designer of Dreams, each year to nominate and recognise the best of the bridal industry elite.

After making the finals just days before, full-time mum and entrepreneur-extraordinaire, Amanda La Monica, was named Australia’s No.1 Makeup Artist.
According to its website, ABIA ensures to only represent and certify the best companies and persons in the industry to “make it easy to distinguish high quality suppliers.”
The ABIA award system is purely based on bridal feedback in which La Monica says of her brides, “I'm lucky to be blessed with such beautiful brides who have recognised and voted for my hard work and dedication to make them look their best on their special day.”
As one of Sydney’s most sought-after bridal makeup artists, La Monica received an overall score of 99.39% scoring exceptionally high across all categories including product, service, and value.
As this is one of many awards she has received, La Monica thanked her husband and children for their continuous support while she not only manages her own business as a makeup artist but also dedicates herself to creating makeup brand LaGlam, which makes women look beautiful, naturally.
