Kylie’s Professional sponsors good causes

Makeup business, Kylie’s Professional is sponsoring Queenslander Tammy Schwerin, a finalist in the 2010 Mrs Australia national finals in Melbourne on August 19 and 21.

The Mrs Australia pageant helps raise money for the W.I.N Foundation of Australia, an outreach of the international non-profit organisation W.I.N. International.

W.I.N. (Women In Need) of Australia is committed to the emotional health, personal self-esteem empowerment and promoting a healthy body image for all women.

It offers this program free of charge, to women in need and anticipate having various programs running throughout the country, focusing on the effects of responsible drinking, self-esteem and physical and emotional abuse by the end of 2010. W.I.N. is also committed to raising awareness and informing the public about the social phenomena called 'abuse'. They do this through awareness programs, and from the help of The Mrs Australia Group.

Kylie’s Professional is also the Official Makeup Sponsor of the 2010 Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival (SCFF), which this year has a strong eco focus during the 2010 United Nations, International Year of Biodiversity.

The SCFF 2010, taking place from September 6 to 11 in Noosa, aims to share a goal to be as environmentally aware as possible.

This includes a large focus on the Eco Chic section of the festival and creating an awareness of the carbon footprint that fashion leaves on our Earth.

Designers showing in Eco Chic must show garments that are 95% recycled including fabrics and adornments, or 95% organic.

Kylie Eustace (pictured above) of Kylie's Professional said:

“We are very pleased Kylie's Professional was approached to be the makeup sponsor after the festival's makeup director tried some of our mineral makeup and loved it.”
