After a delicious breakfast of sweet quinoa, fruit and warm empanadas, Ere introduced guests to her new lippies and gave an overview of the brand’s history – from the development of the first product, the original Natural Almond Oil Mascara in 2004, to the new Olive Oil Lipsticks, there are now 54 products in total covering face, eyes and lips.

Ere’s products are natural, toxic-free natural makeup with simple, wearable shades that are easy to use. “Nothing in my range is full coverage because that’s not how a natural woman should look," said Ere, who went on to proudly list her products' attributes, “They are safe and kind, natural and nourishing, highly-effective, cruelty-free and contain SPF 15 which is ideal for the Aussie weather.”

Ere also highlighted the fact that her makeup is so natural and safe (made from ingredients such as rice powder, olive oil, macadamia nuts, carrot, vanilla and beetroot) that it’s edible!

Ere said her customer is motivated by value and health – she wants nice products but doesn’t want to pay too much for them. Ere has achieved this with her range even though she says it’s been challenging. Yet, with an Australian celebrity following including Catriona Rowntree and Sarah Wilson it is not just every day women who love the brand.

The smooth, moisturising Olive Oil Lipsticks are rich in vitamin E and anti-oxidants. There are eight lipsticks in total which contain both blue and yellow undertones, and “a shade to suit every one.” Ere has given the new lipsticks party inspired names such as Prom and High Tea.

Before leaving, Ere asked guests to pick a lipstick shade to take away with them but that wasn’t all, to tie in with her “edible makeup” theme Ere gave guests some yummy homemade granola containing almonds, oats, and macadamia nuts – just some of the natural ingredients used in her products.
