The Rachel Gilbert SS13 collection presentation was held ahead of Fashion Week, at OTTO Ristorante, Sydney. Curtis Collection were proud to do the makeup for their first fashion shoot.
The collection, called “Liberty” speaks of freedom and modernity. It celebrates the confident state of mind of the Rachel Gilbert woman. Rachel Gilbert chose Curtis Collection to create the natural dewy look they are best known for.
Embellishment was a key theme of the collection – both rich in texture and intricate in detail. Clean, crisp white was complemented by neutral tones of nude. The liberty collection is driven by clean construction and sharp tailoring.
Victoria Curtis, founder of Curtis Collection, said of the look, “The inspiration for Rachel Gilbert SS13 was bronzed, luminous and glowing. We achieved this by creating glossy, illuminated skin with a golden bronzed glow. This was complimented by a soft bronzed, smokey eye, with a focus on perfectly defined brows and a shimmering peach lip."
