Karen Neilsen’s Holidays at The Entrance swimwear launch at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast held on August 26 attracted a good turnout.
The Gold Coast designer previewed her collection at a small beach-style fashion parade at her pearly shells store in Mermaid Beach.
Bodyography cosmetics created makeup looks based on the 1950s beach trends, with flawless faces and red lips, to match the swimsuits of that era.
Neilsen’s Holidays at The Entrance collection also recently featured at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane.
Bodyography General Manager, Rob Tamburro said this was the first time the Bodyography team has worked with a fashion designer on the Gold Coast and is a testament to the growth of Bodyography in Queensland, which now spans from the Gold Coast through to Brisbane, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and Cairns.
“For Bodyography, it is great that we can show our clients that we are both a professional cosmetic company and a professional artistic team, able to work on the catwalks of some of the industry’s top fashion designers and hair stylists. The event was in conjunction with our Bodyography stockist, Bellapelle; just another way in which Bodyography supports its customer network,” said Tamburro.
In the coming months Bodyography plans to continue to support local fashion designers and fashion events around the country, with Newcastle Fashion Week already confirmed.
