There was also an increase in international visitors, but the core as still those from the Asian pacific. Import cosmetic companies are becoming increasingly aware of this booming Asian market and they see the potential for profit.
Highlights of the show include seeing growth in the Organic Cosmetics Zone and Anti-ageing Cosmetics Fair. International buyers who attended were pleasantly surprised at the high quality products on offer from Japanese brands. Korean cosmetic companies showed a huge presence at the show with more than 14 companies exhibiting.
This year, a ‘Newcomers to the Japanese Market Pavilion’ was introduced for companies who do not have importers in Japan. This area was constantly flooded with importers and agents hoping to be the first to introduce new products to the market.
