Endota moves into David Jones

Endota Spa, the largest chain of day spas in Australia, has launched its Endota Organics skincare products into the mass retail market.

The range will be stocked in nine David Jones stores ‒ Elizabeth Street, Bondi Junction and Miranda (NSW); Bourke Street Mall and Chadstone (Vic); Queens Plaza (Qld),  Adelaide Central Plaza, Hay Street Mall (Perth) and Canberra Centre ‒ as well as at David Jones online.

Announcing the decision to begin retailing products outside its spa network, Endota Spa CEO Melanie Gleeson said the company was thrilled to be introducing its products to David Jones’ customers.

She said the Endota Organics product range was Endota’s first foray into skincare and was therefore the logical range to introduce to the retail giant’s customers.

“The range fits perfectly into David Jones’ brand offering, with native Australian botanicals and certified organic ingredients,” she said.

“Women are increasingly looking to harness the power of nature to maintain their health and wellbeing.

“This product range has been developed with the principle that what goes on our skin is just as important as what goes into our body.

“The availability of our products will ensure that women are taking the essence of our treatments home and practising much-needed self-care rituals outside the spa.”

She added that the launch of the 28 products into David Jones is “imperative for building brand and product awareness beyond the existing spa customers”.

Endota Spa – Norwood, South Australia

The roll out into David Jones follows Endota Spa’s “groundbreaking new retail design” which launched in South Australia’s Norwood 12 months ago.

The spa’s “retail space” features “a Dabble Bar that encourages customers to touch, smell or try ingredients and products” as well as an express skin consultation and treatment space for busy customers “without an appointment” featuring a BT analyser, a skin scanner, mini-facials with jade rollers, LED mask treatments and hand, head and shoulder massages.

Fitout manager Jenelle Sheppard said the retail design marks the way forward for Endota Spa “as a market leader in the wellness space”.

“The design of this space allows us to continually challenge the notion of a typical spa,” she said.

“We are excited about taking our design to the next level, bringing wellness out of the treatment rooms and into retail area.”
