Athlegen sponsors ASpa

Treatment and massage equipment manufacturer and distributor, Athlegen, has thrown its support behind the Australasian Spa Association (ASpa) and its mission to foster a vibrant, sustainable spa industry in Australasia; signing on as a sponsor of the industry peak body for 2010.

ASpa President, Karen Goudge, said the sponsorship dollars would flow into the association’s day-to-day management and key initiatives for the year, including the annual ASpa Awards and ASpa Conference.

“The support of sponsors such as Athlegen enables individuals and businesses to become members of ASpa, so in return ASpa can offer benefits such as events, industry magazines, networking and professional development,” said Ms Goudge.

“Having a variety of sponsors is also fabulous as it portrays the breadth of products, services and technical support needed to allow the spa industry to function.”

Athlegen has a strong connection to the spa industry both in Australia and overseas, having supplied massage tables and equipment to some of the world’s most luxurious spa locations including 7-star hotels in Dubai.

Most recently, the company has supplied massage and treatment tables to Tasmania’s newest coastal sanctuary, Saffire Freycinet (pictured), Château Élan at The Vintage Spa, Golf and Conference Resort in the Hunter Valley and Broome’s latest five star resort and spa, Pinctada Cable Beach, Western Australia.

“The spa industry has been integral to Athlegen’s growth and success over the past 20 years and we see our support and sponsorship of ASpa in 2010 as an opportunity to say thank you and give something back,” said Jeffrey Toering, New Business and Product Development Manager, Athlegen.
