Waterlily launches website

Spa skincare products company, Waterlily recently launched its website, www.waterlilybodyandbath.com.au. The website offers an overview of the company’s philosophy, profiling the brand’s founder and Managing Director, Michelle Reeve, and outlining their commitment to purity, and professional, ethical practices as well as being and Australian-specific brand.

“Our online presence was launched to offer strong brand support to our spa and salon partners, Reeve explained. “Our goal was to deliver an ambient website reflecting the hero imagery, style and botanical purity defined by our core values. We saw the site as an opportunity to introduce the spa-goer to the importance of quality plant-based ingredients while offering a touch point for our skin and body care collections.”

The website details the ingredients used in their products, along with specific products in their various ranges.

In a deliberate move, the website does not feature an online shopping facility. Michelle Reeve said the company made this decision because, “Our focus on strong business support ensures the relationships we have built with our spa partners is not comprised by shopping facilities online. Instead, the site offers consumers an insight into the Waterlily journey, ethics and philosophy while directing all retail enquiries back to our spa and salon partners.”

Waterlily exhibited at the recent Melbourne International Beauty Expo and Reeve says it provided a wonderful opportunity. “Our presence in Victoria is growing and it was wonderful to see so many of our spa partners take the time to see us. Visitors to our stand were very enthusiastic to see a comprehensive spa brand embrace the concept of botanical purity into the entire collection. I also think during this economic climate, businesses are more discerning when it comes to product price point, mark-up and treatment costings.”
