A Perth-based beauty medispa owner has been named one of Western Australia’s 40 leading entrepreneurs under the age of 40.
Dr Anh Nguyen was named one of the 40 under 40 leading Perth entrepreneurs at the 40 Under 40 People’s Award, a ceremony recognising Western Australia’s 40 most outstanding young business people.
The Perth-based cosmetic doctor and MediSpa and Wellness Centre owner developed her beauty clinic in response to years of research and growing client desire for more non-invasive on-the-spot treatments with little to no recovery time.
A mum of two and leading expert in the field, Anh was recognised at the awards ceremony for her medical aesthetics innovation. Anh’s clinic combines her specialty of plastic and cosmetic surgery with her passion for non-surgical rejuvenation treatments.
“Cosmetic treatments are no longer reserved for the rich and famous Hollywood types, but are now accessible to more Australians who want to enhance the way they look and feel,” said Anh.
“Despite more and more Australians embracing non-surgical cosmetic treatments, there is still a long way to go when it comes to understanding the full range of treatments available, how they work, what they offer and how they differ.”
With over a decade of experience and a client base of both men and women, Anh’s current focus is around educating her patients on the vast range of effective non-invasive treatment options.
“It’s really important to me to educate my clients on the number of clinically proven treatment options available. Contrary to popular belief there are a number of different non-surgical cosmetic treatments available and while they ultimately may all achieve the same eventual outcome there are differences including ablative and non-ablative lasers as well as injectables and more ergonomically designed to improve overall appearances,” said Anh.
“I’m passionate about aesthetic medicine and being able to help both women and men feel better about themselves. As a woman, I understand that from time to time women in particular may feel insecure and unhappy with their appearance. If I can help people overcome this, then I feel as though I’ve done my job.”
