Australian skincare company Skinstitut has added a skin-needling device to its professional treatment offering.
Established in 2008 “to fill a gap in the market for highly effective, results orientated, Australian skincare”, Skinstitut already supplies a derma-rolling device and diamond microdermabrasion system to salons around the country.
Skinstitut general manager Nicola Gleeson says the new Wireless Tri-M Micro-Needling Device will “add flexibility, customised options and profitability for our trade customers”.
“Skincare is still Skinstitut’s number one priority, that’s why we did not produce our own device,” she says.
“We know our strengths and we will always remain on purpose as a formulator and manufacturer of scientifically proven, technologically advanced, cosmedical grade skincare.
“We have however worked with medical/aesthetic devices since Skinstitut’s inception, recognising that there are efficiency gains to be made in optimising the skin’s health, using high quality skincare in conjunction with aesthetic practices and equipment.”
According to Skinstitut, the Wireless Tri-M Micro-Needling Device “maximises penetration of essential cell nutrients while releasing growth factors to ignite the body’s natural wound healing response”.
Its features include a powerful motor for ‘fast and sharper needling’, five speed settings, a 12-needle cartridge for a greater number of skin punctures per second, ‘a smooth performance with no catching or dragging’, precise needle length adjustment between 0 to 2mm, and up to four hours of wireless operation.
Nicola says that one of the main benefits of the new device is its ease of use.
“An important aspect of the Skinstitut value proposition is in the simplicity of the brand, not in terms of its high tech nature, but in reducing any unnecessary complexity.
“We like to keep things succinct, and deliver the best possible quality, standards and results. The Wireless Tri-M is a pure reflection of this.
“The main point of difference is manoeuvrability. The device can be used wireless, assisting the therapist deliver an effortless treatment without potentially unhygienic wires getting in the way.
There is also a patent that makes this device the safest on the market, with no risk of fluid back flow (blood), eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.”
Skinstitut remains open to adding more equipment to their offering.
“We are always interested in the advancement of aesthetic practices which complement our skincare in balancing cell function,” says Gleeson.
