Free marketing hub for salon owners

We can all agree that marketing is a non-negotiable when it comes to your salon, yes? And we can probably also agree that doing it yourself can be easier said than done.

But in news that is likely to put a pep in your step, the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) is offering three months of free access to practical marketing resources for salons owners impacted by COVID-19 through its newly-launched online marketing training hub.

The SME Marketing Hub will offer affected AMI members applied marketing tips and will also help connect them with professional marketers who will provide the needed support for their marketing activities.

Modules include:

  • Module 1:  The ingredients of a successful SME marketing plan
  • Module 2:  Who are your customers?
  • Module 3:  Customers’ needs vs your value proposition
  • Module 4: The importance of SME brand identity
  • Module 5:  Translating your strategy into a communication plan
  • Module 6:  Measuring marketing success

AMI Chair Lynda Cavalera said that the Hub will enable SMEs to maximise their marketing efforts during these challenging times, providing them with carefully curated content and a directory of consultants from organisations across every sector of the economy.

“Through this practical and free initiative, AMI and its members are working to help Australian SMEs to get the best out of their marketing activities whilst charting their way out of COVID-19,” Ms Cavalera said.

“In a time when so many organisations are having to cut back on marketing expenditure, it is all the more important that businesses are leveraging the strength and capabilities of AMI accredited Certified Practising Marketers,” Ms Cavalera said.
