Professional Beauty welcomes new staff

Professional Beauty, the beauty industry’s leading B2B title, is welcoming two new members this month.

Ruby Feneley will be taking on the role of Beauty Editor while Hannah Gay is on maternity leave, and Julie Davidson will be joining in the capacity of National Advertising Manager.

“We are really looking forward to expanding our team here at Professional Beauty and are excited about our new staff members who will bring vast experience to their roles to drive both the magazine and online forward,” says editor Anita Quade of the appointments.

Ruby Feneley, Beauty Editor
Ruby has a long-held passion for the business of beauty – she started her career at Mecca Cosmetica as an artist and account manager, learning from some of the best in the business. Since then, she has worked in brand marketing in New York, and as a journalist across a range of business and consumer titles in Australia – covering beauty and technology at Foyster Media and heading up trade media and marketing platform Mumbrella’s commercial content division.

Ruby Heneley is taking on the role of Beauty Editor while Hannah Gay is on maternity leave.

“I am thrilled to be joining Professional Beauty Magazine – a market-leading title with an exceptionally talented and experienced team. There has never been a more exciting time for beauty businesses to innovate – from tech and sustainability to services and e-commerce. I can’t wait to keep Professional Beauty readers up-to-date with everything they need to know in 2021,” says Ruby.

Julie Davidson, National Advertising Manager
For the past two decades, Julie has had the privilege of working with several publishing and media companies, across a variety of fashion, youth, business and lifestyle brands and joins us from MiNDFOOD.
