Good Looking Beauty held their annual day at the Chinese Gardens of Friendship in Darling Harbour on Monday 13th August. Host of the day Mariza Nuttall welcomed everyone to The Annual GLB Beauty Extravaganza where international [Comfort Zone] trainer Michaela Senft flew in for long awaited training on the Jade Stone Facial and Tibetan massage.

At th estart of the day, Marco Nuttall, Good Looking Beauty's Director, talked about his recent trip to Europe and the exciting new developments on Tattoo removal, cryopolisis and vascular technology.
During the Tibetan massage Michaela discussed its purpose to put the mind, body and spirit back in balance. The Tibetian Bowls, chimed at the beginning and end of the treatment, signify the Yin, while the body represents the Yang. Hot Stones were also used during the treatment on key Chakra points and accentuated the feeling resonating through the body following the chiming of the Tibetian Bowls. Rich butter was used for the all over body massage starting with the head. Michaela also used Hot Oil drops on the scalp during the head massage.

The day ended on a high with the GLB Annual Awards and the announcement of who won the trip to Italy. The winner for Top Retail Therapist of the year Elouise Conciatore and the winner for Salon Achievement of the Year Rene Thorpe – The Temple Skincare will both be flying to Italy to experience Osaine/Comfort Zone and Coax Med in Venice. They are both very excited to have this opportunity to see state of the art manufacturers and spas await them.

New for 2012 were the GLB Butterfly Awards for great achievement in the salon. Meriza said, “The Butterfly represents the process of transformation from the cocoon where the butterfly emerges in her unfurling glory. The winners if these awards have truly transformed and therefore we want to honour them.”
