PBS takes on EcoCoco

Professional Beauty Solutions has added EcoCoco – an Australian face, body and tanning range built around 100 percent Certified Organic Coconut Oil – to its stable of brands.

Launched in 2014 by Stefan Ackerie, the founder of Stefan Hair Fashions (Australia’s largest hairdressing chain with 37 salons in Queensland), EcoCoco is based on the belief that 100 percent Certified Organic Coconut Oil is the key to a healthy and functional beauty regime.

In the four years since its launch the brand has grown from a “small range of body products” into a full range of face, body and tanning solutions for both the retail and professional salon market.

Apart from 100 percent Certified Organic Coconut Oil, EcoCoco products are formulated with “a whole range of organic botanicals and mineral salts” including Kakadu Plum, Goji Berry, Rosehip Oil, Dilo Oil and Acai” as well as lime, lavender, peppermint, geranium, orange and patchouli essential oils.

Professional Beauty Solutions CEO Matt Williams says the brand strives to deliver innovative products that empower women to look and feel their best in a healthy and natural way.

“EcoCoco contacted us several months ago regarding the Australia-wide distribution of the brand,” he says.

“We were already fans of their beautiful packaging and amazing Instagram account, then we tried the products and the quality exceeded our expectations.”

“EcoCoco signature treatments are designed to fit into any salons current business model, as an add-on or as a complete body treatment range while their beautifully packaged retail products will have clients falling in love, making them an easy-to-retail addition to boost profits.”

Ackerie says he is thrilled that Professional Beauty Solutions will be representing EcoCoco in the Australian market.

He says the company has been focusing on international expansion for the last two years but is now ready to focus on the Australian market.

“We always knew when the time came to focus on the Australian market, we wanted to partner with a distributor that is passionate about client relationships and success,” he says.

“We are so thrilled that PBS are representing EcoCoco in the Australian market. They are 100 percent committed to their accounts and the success of the brands they carry.

“We believe PBS’s approach to salon support, marketing and education is the perfect brand alignment. Matt and Lisa’s commitment to their business is a testament to them. They are on the forefront of every aspect of their business and are so invested in its success − as are we.”

The EcoCoco distributorship follows PBS’s acquisition of Lük Beautifood in July this year as well Pure Fiji (which features coconut oil from the South Pacific) early last year.
