Nail addicts – we’ve got a new one for your collection. Kester Black has just released their Pantone Colour of the Year polish, with the shade set to inspire the design and culture world in 2017.
‘Greenery’ has been a year in the making, with the limited edition shade and collaboration more than just a colour to Kester Black Director and Founder Anna Ross.
“We’re so excited to be able to offer our customers around the world an exclusive opportunity to wear the 2017 Pantone Colour of the Year in such a fun and accessible way,” she says.
“The green tones of the 2017 Pantone Colour also have a bigger reference for us – people know Kester Black for our ethical values and sustainable business practices. We’re a ‘green’ business as well as one hooked on design and colour.”
To celebrate the release of the colour of 2017, Kester Black has collaborated with renowned photographer Martina Gemmola and stylist Annette Wagner to create a selection of inspired and stunning campaign imagery.
But if you want to see the real thing up close and personal, this new shade of polish is in stock on the Kester Black online store, and, like the rest of the company’s range, is free from a variety of toxic ingredients including formaldehyde, toluene and camphor.
This is just one of Kester Black’s many achievement’s this year, with Director Anna Ross named the 2016 Telstra Australian Young Business Woman of the Year a mere three weeks ago.
“I have made aligning my own values with my business goals central to my approach and am proud to demonstrate through this award that it has enhanced rather than hindered my success in business,” she said upon accepting the award.
“From very humble roots, starting with $50 from my wages, Kester Black now produces more than 60 products, supplying in excess of 300 stockists globally, showing that purpose- and values-led business and commercial success are not mutually exclusive.”
“Kester Black is the result of continual innovation, a tireless approach to ethical manufacturing and a passion for having a positive impact on the community and environment.”
Earlier this year, the company received recognition for its innovation after designing a halal-friendly nail polish for devote Muslim women.
