Great Lengths Australia will once again be participating in Pink Ribbon month with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NCBF) this October via their Pink Hair to Show You Care campaign.
This innovative programme incorporates its pale pink and hot pink hair extensions. At just $10 per strand, which includes both application and future removal, this donation will be given in full to NBCF.
Rob Aubin, the general manager of Great Lengths Australia is hoping to raise over $10,000 this year.
“We recognise that the loss of a women’s hair during cancer treatment can be one of the most emotional parts of her journey. Hair is so representative of a women’s femininity and the loss of hair during cancer treatment can be incredibly distressing for many women”, says Aubin.
He continued, “We are experienced in working with women who have uneven growth and issues with fine hair, due to cancer treatment, pregnancy or hormone-related causes. In these instances, having Great Lengths hair extensions applied can be immensely beneficial in building self confidence and creating gorgeous, completely natural-looking hair that is easy to maintain.”
