The CIDESCO World Conference was held in Zurich on 13 – 15 October 2012. CIDESCO’s annual meetings together with lectures presented by international speakers and a host of sponsors were presented at this prestigious occasion. Social events in the form of the Formal Dinner hosted at the Zunfthaus Zur Saffran and the Welcome Cocktail Party which was held at the CIDESCO head office were well attended by keen delegates.
Narelle Blinman
The General Assembly was held on October 15 and voting for the various positions on the CIDESCO Board took place. Coleen Shaw, executive officer at AABTh (Advanced Association of Beauty Therapists, CIDESCO Section A, Australia) is delighted to announce that one of the members, Narelle Blinman, has been voted to the position of Board Member for Education. This position is for a four year tenure. Narelle will be overseeing the all education matters for beauty and body therapies, spa therapies, aromatherapy, electrical epilation and makeup for catwalk, theatre and character.
