Celebrate NAIDOC Week

The National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) will celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the first week of July 2012.

Li'tya in collaboration with Peninsula Hot Springs in Rye, Victoria will celebrate NAIDOC week commencing 1st July to 8th July 2012

NAIDOC week is held on 1st to 8th July 2012 and all Australians can participate in events throughout Australia in recognition and support of all indigenous communities.

Peninsula Hot Springs in Rye, Victoria will celebrate NAIDOC week in collaboration with skincare and spa brand, Li’tya.

The family friendly festivities include an indigenous smoking ceremony, roving didgeridoo player, indigenous dancing and an art exhibition, along with a bush tucker demonstration and nature walks.

Li’tya will present a Yulu Tea stand throughout the week and from 11am daily, a pop-up spa will be offering mini treatments highlighting the Li’tya Munthari Hand Hydrating Lotion, Australian desert salts and native essential oils. Two hampers of Li’tya products valued at $500 will also be auctioned during the week.

Li’tya will also be donating a percentage of all wholesale sales during the week to the Li’tya Foundation.
