Alpha-H Celebrate Golden Birthday

This year, salon skincare brand Alpha-H celebrates 15 years since the launch its iconic Liquid Gold product.

Fifteen years ago, if you’d of asked anyone where you could get your hands on liquid gold, you would have attracted some strange looks.

But a decade and a half later, the words ‘liquid gold’ have become synonymous with prestige skincare brand, Alpha-H.

In 2000, the brand launched its now iconic Liquid Gold product, a skin resurfacing treatment with a unique state of the art, low pH delivery system – designed to stimulate hyaluronic acid and collagen production, promoting a reduction in wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage and acne.

Within a couple of years of its introduction to the market, Alpha-H’s Liquid Gold had become a cult hit with beauty editors, makeup artists and salon professionals, nabbing awards for its ability to deliver noticeable results, and becoming a best seller in the process.

Now, in 2015, the brand is celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of its infamous product with a year-long multimedia campaign, the Liquid Gold Love Affair.

Reflecting the product’s worldwide impact, celebrations will have a distinctly global flavour, with Liquid Gold cocktail parties for key retailers in Europe and Sydney and a fleet of iconic black taxis  transformed into Liquid Gold Cabs set to invade the streets of London to mark the brand’s milestone.

To design the beautiful artwork which features on all the limited edition anniversary merchandising – the elegant retail boxes, limited edition tote bags, website banners and social media imagery – Alpha-H turned to Australian artist Kelly Smith, who created an illustration to captures the essence of the product and the love affair it inspires in its customers.

The resulting image also features the new soft-touch packaging for Liquid Gold and a sugarcane backdrop, which is symbolic of the product’s key ingredient, glycolic acid.

Alpha-H customers will also have plenty more reasons to celebrate throughout this anniversary year with each retail carton for the 100ml and 200ml Liquid Gold will contain an entry card bearing a unique code that can be registered on the Alpha-H website to go into the draw win prizes including vouchers from Tiffany & Co.
