A team of PR consultants and former journalists air Melbourne PR company Good Talent Media, are hoping to provide a positive end to 2020 by offering an entire month of their services free to one small Australian business in the beauty sector.
To support the Australian community after what has been, to say least, a very testing year for many small businesses, Good Talent Media are holding an online competition that will close on Black Friday (27 November).
With Melbourne only just now emerging from one of the world’s longest and strictest lockdowns, and the rest of Australia still under varying levels of restrictions, many small businesses are struggling to find the capital to invest in things that can help protect their cash flow long term, like PR.
“While PR is a fantastic business investment with long-term benefits, we understand that sadly many businesses have been struck hard by COVID and simply don’t have the funds to invest in services like these,” says Good Talent Media’s CEO Tony Nicholls. “Being able to help this way means everything to us.”
The winning business will have the option to select from Good Talent Media’s palette of services including; public relations, reputation management, influencer engagement or profile building, at absolutely no cost for a month.
“We truly wish we could help every business that is struggling… but that is unfortunately not realistic. Instead, we are holding this competition which will likely not be a once-off,” said Mr Nicholls.
“This is somewhat of a trial run. If the response is strong, and we see there are businesses that want our assistance, we vow to make this a regular offering. To help Australia get back on its feet, and give something back in this way, is rewarding but it’s not enough — I encourage other organisations in a position to help others to, please, do so.”
