Latest issue of Professional Beauty available now

Closing out on what has arguably been the most challenging year for salons, the issue celebrates the triumph and determination of the industry, and looks forward to a brighter, more positive 2021.

“This year has thrown down countless challenges for the industry,” said editor Anita Quade. “From bushfires in January, to the pandemic that saw salon owners lock their doors for varying periods of time. During those uncertain times, salon owners looked to Professional Beauty for guidance, reassurance, and direction on how to re-imagine their salons to adapt to the limitations the year had placed on them. As we close the book on 2020, and put out this final issue for the year, we’re acknowledging the challenges faced by many, but share hope that 2021 will bring with it new opportunities and see salon owners returning to doing what they love.”

The latest issue of Professional Beauty is available for download now.

Topical within the issue is an investigation into Australia’s move to becoming a cashless society, and how salons can adapt to that, as well as the booming trend of ingestible beauty.

Salon owners can also be inspired by the products on view in the gift guide, or finally give their salon the makeover they’ve been dreaming of with interiors inspiration.

And inspiration doesn’t come much more potent than at the Comfort Zone. The in-depth cover story with Davide Bollati, the president of the company, is fascinating reading.

From pregnancy-friendly products, to the pieces any make-up artist worth their mascara is going to ant in their kit, as well as the skinny on cosmetic chemistry and the intel from industry veterans, you’ll find it all in the issue, available here, right now.
