Beauty media and influencers hopped on water taxis and were transported to floating venue, The Island, for the launch of UK brand Tanologist in Australia.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with peach frose as they took pictures on the media wall, before perusing the new self tanning products.

A DJ provided tunes while attendees chatted to consultants about the customisable Tanologist products and took in the amazing views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Brand founder Charlotte Elizabeth ‘Lottie’ Tomlinson, who boasts more than 3 million followers on Instagram, descended Down Under for the event, along with her creative director and fellow social media star Lou Teasdale.

The 21-year-old said she wanted to create a product that didn’t cause breakouts and  was  vegan and cruelty free.

“With other fake tans either my skin breaks out or my pores feel clogged and I hate that fake tan smell,” she said.

“I’ve developed this range to deliver everything I wanted in a tan – clean, clear and streak free results.”

Products  in the range include Self-Tan Drops, Self-Tan Water,  Self-Tan Mousse, Insta Glow, Gradual Tan, Overnight Oil and  Eraser + Primer.
