Clean, fresh skin was in at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2019.
At three of the shows held over the course of the week – Matteau, Hansen & Gretel and Christopher Esber – foundation wasn’t used on the models.
Instead, each model was given a signature 10-minute express treatment from Dermalogica to soothe and refresh models’ skin before they hit the runway.
Dermalogica education manager and MBFW skin director, Emma Hobson, said the look was all about “clean, healthy, glowing skin to complement the clothing and really let it shine”.
Meanwhile, Murad was backstage handing out products at the Ten Pieces show, held at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Icebergs.
Aspect was also a sponsor of the show, which saw models strut their stuff in and around the pool, which had been drained of all water for the occasion.
Kirsty Sinclair, marketing manager at Advanced Skin Technology, the Australian distributors for Aspect, said The Bondi-based show under the glorious Sydney sun was the perfect partnership with the recently launched TGA approved 50 and 50+ Sun Collection.
“The Aspect Sun range is hydrating and lightweight, and also offers broad spectrum four-hour water resistant sun protection,” she said.
“It was a great fit for our brand.”
