Lash queen sets flawless standard in Oz

Lash extension experts Otto Mitter, Renee  Gurney and Loreta Jasilionyte celebrate the success of the Australian Lash Conference in Melbourne

Master eyelash extensions trainer and judge Loreta Jasilionyte has shared her secrets to longer fuller lashes with the Australian lash industry.

Based in London, Jasilionyte was a guest instructor at two advanced lash extension classes in Melbourne organised by Ex-Import Niche Products’s Otto Mitter and Lash and Brow Professional’s Renee Gurney.

Ex-Import general manager Zoe Mitter said Jasilionyte’s “long-awaited visit” to the Australian Lash Conference saw both classes “launched and sold-out within a record 24 hours”.

“To say Australian lash artists were excited by Loreta’s tour is an understatement,” she said.

“Loreta specialises in creating flawless lash masterpieces that are not only healthy to the natural lash but impeccably crafted.

“Her teachings focus heavily on safe lashing practises − for the client and the technician.”

She said that Jasilionyte’s techniques and lash styling skills are “unlike any other” with an emphasis “on seamless blending and curl mixing for an immaculate finish.”

During her Melbourne visit Loretta focussed on the “Russian Volume technique” in both classes.

“This manipulation of multiple extensions of a minuscule diameter attaching to a natural lash to create a dramatic but safe finish is an art in itself,” said Zoe.

“Loreta’s unique pick-up techniques and her styling mastery impressed all the students – after the class they all agreed their lash skills had jumped to the next level.”

Due to the “exemplary feedback”, Ex-Import Niche Products is already planning another Australian visit for Jasilionyte to help local lash artists improve their skills to “flawless standards”.

Jasilionyte established the Flawless Lashes Training Academy was established by Loreta in 2012 and then started retailing her own line of lashes, Flawless Lashes by Loreta, in 2013.
