Can TikTok sell salon products?

If you’ve considered extending your salon’s ecommerce presence to include Shopify, this is great news. TikTok and Shopify are partnering in Australia to help Shopify entrepreneurs extend their commerce strategies to TikTok, enabling them to create and run campaigns directly geared toward the social platform’s highly engaged community. Through this partnership, which follows the global launch that was announced in October 2020, Australian Shopify merchants are able to tap into the creativity of the TikTok community, be discovered, and optimise their marketing campaigns.

With the number of new store creations on Shopify in Australia growing 76% in 2020 vs. 2019, the partnership comes at an opportune time.

Through the TikTok channel which is now available in Australia, Shopify merchants can access core functions of the TikTok For Business Ads Manager without leaving the Shopify dashboard. Highlights include: 

“1-click” pixel: Shopify merchants can install or connect their TikTok Pixel with a click of a button, making it quicker and easier to track conversions.

A One-Stop-Shop for TikTok Campaigns: Merchants can create campaigns, target audiences and track performance in one place.

Creative Made Simple: Everyone has a story to tell on TikTok, and the TikTok channel enables Shopify merchants to create native, shareable ads that resonate with the community. TikTok’s intuitive creative tools help turn merchants’ products into high quality TikToks in minutes.

New Advanced Matching: This new TikTok Pixel feature enables Shopify merchants to send hashed customer information to more effectively track conversions from TikTok ads and retarget audiences while maintaining user privacy.

Ad Credits for Merchants:Eligible merchants who spend $25USD ($32AUD) in 14 days will receive $100USD ($129AUD) in ad credits to jumpstart their first TikTok campaign.
