Advanced Cosmeceuticals celebrates 15 years of growth

Just 15 years ago in December 2006, Advanced Cosmeceuticals, purchased the distribution rights for SkinCeuticals, one of only a few reputable cosmeceutical brands at the time. The acquisition started a journey that turned Advanced Cosmeceuticals into one of the most recognisable names in the Australian professional beauty industry.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Catherine Biedermann, Advanced Cosmeceuticals has grown from being the distributor of a single brand to representing a stable of leading cosmeceutical skincare brands and premium aesthetic medical devices. From medical aesthetical equipment like Cocoon Medical, Plasma Pen and Hyapen Pro by Louise Walsh International and Antera 3D and Silhouet Tone they have an enviable technology stable.

They are also the go-to distributor of some of the industry’s most highly regarded skincare formulations. From Medik8, mesoestetic, CALECIM Professional and Lycogel. They have also recently launched dermatological-grade skincare brand SkinMTX.

Despite the challenges of 2021, Advanced Cosmeceuticals has experienced rapid growth. What started in December 2006 in an intimate office with two staff and an MD has catapulted. The Advanced Cosmeceuticals team now stands at 46, including office staff, warehouse staff, educators and clinical trainers working across their 10 premium brands.

Catherine Biedermann, Managing Director of Advanced Cosmeceuticals attributes the businesses blockbuster success to the solutions they provide, and the team they have on deck. “I am very proud of what Advanced Cosmeceuticals has achieved in 15 years. Our ability to offer customized and integrated solutions to medical and skin care professionals across Australia is second to none.”

“Yet, what I am particularly proud of is our team and the incredible culture that has been cultivated by this company.” She says professionalism and respect are the driving force behind the Advanced Cosmeceutical company culture. “From our highly qualified business development managers and trainers to our marketing team, warehouse staff, and reception – their professional work ethic ensures that as a company we maintain the highest quality support and service at every level. However, it is the camaraderie and the respect our team have for one another that is the determination of our success.”
