Inside Emepelle’s Exclusive Sydney Event Shining a Light on Menopausal Skin

To close out World Menopause Month, Emepelle hosted an exclusive event at The Butler, Potts Point, celebrating conversation, connection and confidence for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.

Hosted by TV and radio personality – and current Golden Bachelor contestant – Bianca Dye, the event offered an open and inspiring discussion around the physical, emotional and skin-related impacts of menopause. Bianca candidly shared her own personal experience with perimenopause, sparking an engaging and empowering dialogue among guests.

Joining Bianca was leading skin expert Dr David Kosenko, who unpacked the science behind menopausal skin changes and the groundbreaking innovations helping women restore balance and vitality. Together, they explored how hormonal shifts can affect the skin’s texture, tone and luminosity – and how Emepelle’s technology, backed by clinical research, is redefining care for skin affected by oestrogen loss.

Dr Kosenko also reflected on the broader healthcare landscape, referencing the landmark Senate inquiry aiming to bring menopause into mainstream health conversations. He noted that menopause education was once a core part of medical training in the 1980s, but was deprioritised after the release of the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study in 2002. Now, with renewed public interest and advocacy, he emphasised the importance of reintroducing menopause awareness into medical practice and daily dialogue.

As the first and only clinically proven skincare range formulated to safely and effectively rejuvenate, restore and rebalance skin affected by menopause or oestrogen loss, Emepelle continues to lead a vital movement in skin health and wellbeing. Guests left the event informed, inspired and empowered – embracing the message that menopause is not a pause, but a powerful new phase of life.
