Offering a five-star educational and networking experience at one of the country’s most serene locales, Beauty Boss Retreat 2025 brought together beauty business owners over five jam-packed days.
The all-inclusive retreat was held at an acreage in Montville, inland from the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Angela Dickson of Beauty Business Co. founded Beauty Boss Retreat to provide an opportunity for like-minded beauty insiders to step outside their ‘day-to-day surroundings’ and ‘the nitty-gritty’ of business ownership.
Guests of this year’s Beauty Boss Retreat were taught practical lessons in resilience-building, avoiding burnout, and cultivating healthy dynamics in business and personal life. Attention was placed back onto the self, and guests’ individual appreciation of self with the aim of achieving a sense of focus and alignment. Areas like goal-setting, ‘hot seat’ and ‘fire circle’ sessions ran, encouraging guests to consider what was coming in the way of their future success, and how to set intentions.
With Angela’s background in social media content creation, guests were provided a tutorial on crafting b-roll, speaking to camera, and editing. Other physical sessions ranged from hypnosis to breathwork, to an ice bath dip to reinvigorate the mind senses.
“There’s something powerful about bringing beauty professionals together in an intimate setting—it’s where true transformation happens,” Angela told PB. “In a world that can often feel isolating, these events create space for deep connection, honest conversation, and real growth.”
