Switchfunky appoints new educational services manager

Switchfunky appoints Kylie Clare as educational services manager to co-ordinate its extensive Australian and New Zealand professional nail education programs.

Kylie Clare, a highly qualified and multi-award winning nail professional, salon owner, educator and Tasmanian Polytechnic (TAFE) lead trainer of more than 15 years now joins Switchfunky as the head of educational services.

Kylie was a CND educator for more than a decade and was named educator of the year in 2004. Her international training, using many different product systems and experience as a seasoned session manicurist with an extensive portfolio including many Australian Fashion Weeks, combined with her role at Polytechnic (TAFE) has placed her uniquely to head up the next stage in Switchfunky education.

“Kylie has been busy writing advanced education programs for our leading brands including Minx, Artistic Nail and Bellissima during the past few months, we expect to be offering these advanced classes through our distributors in the second half of 2012,“ said Peter Lykissas MD at Switchfunky.

Kylie will be also be heading up our switchfunky education team, an exciting group of eight passionate individuals with extensive professional nail industry knowledge and practical experience totaling more than a century. Switchfunky offer training solutions not only for their own products but also for novice and advanced nail stylists alike. Their educators work across various platforms and can even offer setup consults for salons looking for
modern, powerful direction in nails.
