Mamamia leads star line-up at Expo

Media personality Mia Freedman will lead a line-up of inspirational and educational speakers at the International Spa & Beauty Expo in Sydney next month.
 
Mia, www.mamamia.com.au blogger and author, will reveal how she achieved work life balance in her Balance Your Life & Keep Motivatedseminar.
 
Mia became editor of Cosmopolitan magazine at just 24 and had a baby a few months later but “things unexpectedly fell apart” and “she was forced to face a few
uncomfortable truths about who she was and what she wanted to do with her life”.
 
According to Expo event director Lauren Ebbeck, Mia’s seminar is certain to be a “big drawcard given her massive profile in the media”.
 
However Mia’s seminar is not the only big attraction in the Expo’s educational lineup.

Food philosopher, nutritional strategist and author of The Anti-Diet, Sherry will advise beauty and spa professionals how to take control of their own health. and “value add” for their clients by discovering life giving, anti-aging and energising super foods in the Spa Nutrition seminar.
Jaclyn Hughes. With over 14 years experience in the health and spa industry, the managing director of Ultimate Training Solutions with reveal how businesses can make more revenue from retail with “four easy steps that will have you and your team achieving amazing retail results” in the Retail Super Tips workshop.
 
Caroline Nelson. A third-generationaesthetician with extensive business and marketing experience, Caroline will be running the Boot Camp for Profitable Spa Management seminar where participants will learn how to create a “balance of core beauty rnationservice bookings to complement luxurious special occasion spa pampering and wellness based services, for maximum profitability”.
 
Kirien Withiers. The Spa Australasia editor will chair a panel discussion on Spa Parties and Social Spa-ing with Leanne Morris from Harbour Day Spa, Louise Lugg from Isis Egyptian Day Spa and Nik Pappas from the Observatory Hotel.
