Beauty Melbourne 2020 – details released

The countdown is on for Victoria’s biggest weekend for the beauty industry.

Beauty Melbourne kicks off on March 28, for two jam-packed days at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, that’s expected to feature over 40 educational sessions, more than 200 leading brands, and more than 4,000 attendees, making it one to mark on the calendar.

Covering everything from professional skincare to cosmetics, nails, medi, wellness and spa, Beauty Melbourne is the place for the beauty industry to come together to be inspired, innovated and connect with peers.

The education programme features globally celebrated experts who will bring their insights and showcase their styles, tips, techniques and talents, arming attendees with the know-how on the latest beauty trends and cutting-edge knowledge for the benefit of attendees’ clients and salons.

Must-see seminars include Australian Organic CEO Niki Ford’s ‘The Power of an Organic Approach in the Beauty Industry’, Renaissance Nails and Beauty owner Renee Grant’s ‘From Employee to Owner: How to Start Your Home Salon’, and sales strategist Misty Henkel’s ‘Knocking Down Your Sales Anxiety.’

In addition to the group education sessions, the Business Advice Hub offers confidential one-on-one support from qualified professionals, including representatives from Sparrow Insurance, Nexia Australia, Accounting Angels, the Fair Work Ombudsman, and Apprenticeship Support Australia.

Opportunities also exist for industry insiders to exhibit their business, salon or products to a market of salon owners, beauty therapists, managers and operators. At 2019’s Beauty Melbourne, 75% of visitors held direct authority to purchase goods or services at the event, 90% of visitors made purchases, and 93% said they would attend Beauty Melbourne again in 2020.

For business owners and managers, those dreaming of opening a salon of their own, as well as those looking to promote their products or services, Melbourne Beauty is a must-visit.
