Rodan + Fields ranked No.1 in the US ‒ again

Rodan & Fields has been ranked the number one skincare brand in the US by Euromonitor International – for the second year in a row.

Announcing the impressive result, Rodan + Fields president and chief executive officer Diane Dietz said the company was incredibly honoured to be the number one skincare brand in the US for two consecutive years – and now number one in Canada too.

“This is a testament to our products that deliver visible results, our personalised, direct-to-consumer approach and the entrepreneurial power of our consultant community,” she said.

“We look forward to the continued momentum and sharing our life-changing skincare with more consumers globally.”

The company’s chief financial officer, Chris Newman, added that its success was fueled by its “strong growth trajectory in 2017 with double digit growth and revenue upwards of US$1.5 billion”.

“As an industry disruptor, we project double-digit growth for the next five years, and expect to continue to be a global leader pushing the boundaries of skincare and social commerce.”

Founded in 2002 by Dr Katie Rodin and Dr Kathy Fields, the company’s products were sold in department stores until 2007, when the company “made the unprecedented move out of department stores and into the world of social commerce” in order to realise the doctors’ vision of “providing the closest alternative to a professional skincare experience outside of a medical office and, in the process, empowering entrepreneurial opportunity”.

“As dermatologists, women, and product developers, we have a perspective that is totally different from traditional skincare or pharmaceutical companies,”said Dr Rodan.

“Our personal experience has enabled us to understand how skin issues impact self-confidence and self-esteem.

“Our regimen-based system, used every day, makes a positive, visible difference in how skin looks as it ages.”

Rodan + Fields launched in Canada in 2015 and in Australia last year.
