Australian Skin Clinics arrive in Townsville

In the midst of its 22nd birthday celebrations, Australian Skin Clinics has transformed the Townsville Injectable and Laser Clinic into its 49th medi-aesthetic franchise business in the country.

A month after the official makeover, franchisee Irene Vassilakos, who opened her clinic in Castletown Shopping World 10 years ago, said she is excited to be able to offer locals a new beauty experience under the well-known brand.

“I knew when I made the decision to align my business with a national brand that it had to be Australian Skin Clinics,” she said.

“Australian Skin Clinics are a very client-focused brand who are improving all the time and always work to address client needs − this has always been a focus for my clinic so it is the perfect fit.”

The re-branded clinic will continue to offer laser and injectable treatments as well as a range of “new, results-driven cosmetic and medi-aesthetic treatments such as Fractional RF Skin Tightening and High Performance Microdermabrasion”.

Australian Skin Clinics’ chief marketing officer Christie Harris said the company, which established its first clinic in 1996 and opened its first franchise in 2011, was “excited to be part of the local community for the first time in North Queensland”.

“Australian Skin Clinics offers a range of treatments to suit a wide spectrum of customers both in age, skin type and gender and now we can offer this to Townsville locals,” she said.

“Our focus is to empower our clients to look and feel fantastic by offering accessible cosmetic treatments in high quality facilities, delivered by experienced, qualified and highly trained team members.

“What better way to do that than alongside a respected local who has been in the industry for 10 years, owning and operating the clinic.”

The Townsville Clinic is the first established clinic that Australian Skin Clinics’ has “converted” apart from 16 Ella Rouge salons in NSW,  which joined the franchise earlier this year and are now in the process of being re-branded.

The majority of the brand’s clinics are built from scratch in new locations.

Australian Skin Clinics, which also has four franchisee businesses in New Zealand under the brand name The Cosmetic Clinic, is planning to expand further in the year ahead.
