The third GNDA in April was bigger than last year with growth in registrations from 112 in 2011 to 157. “The day was fantastic and such a dream to see so many passionate nail artists come together and get to know one another in person as opposed to online,” said Viv Simmonds, GNDA organiser and director of Vivid Nails.
“We were thrilled to have international competitors from Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany and Finland. Throughout the day competitors had time between competitions to take a break and every event started on time which was fantastic. The final competition, Tag Team, was a really fun way to finish the day with colourful costumes, loud music and lots of laughs.”
Due to the competition’s popularity, another GNDA has been organised for Melbourne on Sunday October 28th, 2012. The events and themes are as follows:
