As one of the first spectaculars to kick off the fashion industry’s annual event Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, the renowned design duo presented their richly eclectic collection entitled 'The Oracle' to a packed house complete with an orchestra and choir.

With designs that interpreted Michael Ende's fantasy novel ‘The Never Ending Story’, Romance Was Born completed their richly textured and styled looks with eccentrically styled hair by GHD, beautiful two-toned lips by M.A.C Cosmetics and nails by Sally Hansen.

Sally Hansen used a mixture of both polish and Salon Effects nail polish strips to create the fantastical look.

The enamel was Kook-A-Mango (orange), Midnight in NY (black), White On 21 (white), while the Salon Effects were Glitz Blitz (gold glitter), Skinny Jeans (denim blue) and Misbehaved (metallic light gold with fishnet black print).

The designs were a combination of either two polish colours or a print and a colour in a moon-like design.

What’s more, to save precious time, all the nails were pre-done on artificial nails and stuck on to the models fingers with nail glue.
