My Makeup Collection is an innovative new iPhone and Android app that helps beauty lovers manage their makeup collection as well as being a great tool for makeup artists assisting them to plan makeup purchases. At a glance the experts can keep track of different brands with graphs to show each item, brand, colour etc.
Being able to catalogue their makeup kit with pictures and records of existing products and comparing them to new ones helps them to make the best purchase without duplicating ones already owned. It can be a useful tool for demonstrating your portfolio to customers and photos of makeup looks can be tagged with products that were used.
Users can review products and share them by Facebook or email or put items on a wishlist for friends and family
The new app is also useful for makeup artists, says the apps Perth-based creator, Rebecca Collins. “They can set up a group profile using an email address and replicate looks using the same product in different locations. The collection can be customised to include new brands, so beauty professionals trying new and emerging brands can compare these to established products.”
Another function allows the user to send an entire collection or selection back to email to maintain makeup spreadsheets.
