Debuting in her second solo parade at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, Emma Mulholland’s Spring Summer collection was inspired by the 1980s brat pack. The muse of the collection was Melanie Griffith in the movie Working Girl – a young and fresh-faced girl trapped in her boring job as an office worker, wanting to break free and express herself.

The collection featured muted pastels, occasional brights, fun prints and stationary-inspired attire. Androgynous porcelain tanned models walked down the runway looking bored and lifeless – desperate to escape their everyday routines.

In reflection of the collection, LDN:Skins used The Porcelain Tan to create a pale, polished, unblemished and flawless palette for the clothing. Showcasing the flexibility of tanning products and how they work to enhance the skin without dark colours, the models strutted down the catwalk in a natural but enhanced glow.
