Bodyography will celebrate its 2nd Birthday with an Avatar-themed birthday party in Melbourne next month – and is inviting the beauty industry to come along and join in the fun.
To be held at the Silk Road bar on October 2, the party will feature roaming entertainers, full body painting demonstrations, celebrity guests and a “makeover studio”.
Bodyography director Rob Tamburro said the event, which will be filmed by Fashion TV, was a celebration of the brand and a way to thank the people who have supported it.
“In the two years since launching Bodyography we have seen the brand start from an idea of launching a professional cosmetics brand in Australia to hundreds of salons and makeup artists that use the products across Australia and New Zealand.
“Bodyography is now a recognised brand with close working ties with Fashion TV, the fashion industry, the hair industry and professional photo shoots across the country.
“We have also launched the Bodyography Academy in Melbourne and developed the Bodyography artistic team which is called to many events and shows which Bodyography sponsor and are asked to work on.”
“Therefore we would like to dedicate this event to the beauty industry and invite all salons, particularly our Bodyography clients and followers, to come along,” he said.

“Salons that contact us for an invite will be placed on our guest list and be escorted on arrival to the Bodyography area on Level 2,” said Rob.
He said people can also “just show up on the night” but stressed they “should turn up early” as the company was expecting around 1800 people “through the door”.
