Adorn Mineral Cosmetics has released a fully integrated virtual colour matching service into its online store.

With a drive for innovation, Adorn Mineral Cosmetics wanted to combat the typical complaints that many women have about purchasing cosmetics; inexperienced staff, insufficient time, bad in-store lighting and a disparate approach to customer satisfaction. By offering its Virtual Colour Matching Service they’re keen to build confidence in online cosmetics purchases.

Using innovative technology, customers upload a photo of themselves and request specific products to be colour matched. This is more advanced than other cosmetic sites who merely ask online shoppers to choose their closest complexion match from range of different stock images.

Once Adorn customers have been matched, the products and shades are saved in their customer profile where they can order from directly. Customers are encouraged to build up their own online cosmetics store that is fully customised to their needs particularly as the seasons change.
