The inclusive Mother’s Day campaign from Inika Organic, LOVEorganic

Australian natural beauty brand INIKA Organic has just launched its new LOVEorganic campaign online, just in time for Mother’s Day but with a more inclusive message of celebrating all the strong people in our lives who we admire and “Spreading the Love.”

Polly Roderick, Global Senior Brand Manager, says “At INIKA, we decided to move away from a traditional Mother’s Day campaign and focus on the important people in our lives who we admire. We launched LOVEorganic with one simple goal: spreading the love unconditionally, organically. After all, not everyone has a great relationship with their mum nor a mother to show love to when it comes to celebrating Mother’s Day. So, we want to focus on inspirational and supportive people – whether that’s mum, dad, grandparents, your best friend or favourite colleague.”

The new brand campaign features limited-edition kits, a Mother’s Day competition and interviews with high-profile women, comedian Sam Andrew and AFLW player Maddy Prespakis.

The gifting skincare kits have inspirational quotes across the packaging to “inspire and how the one you love how appreciated they are.” There is the Beauty Best Sellers, which includes the Long Lash Vegan Mascara and the Lip & Cheek Cream (AUD $49.00), and the Luminous Skin Regime with Phytofuse Phytofuse Renew Resveratrol Serum and Phytofuse Renew Maca Root Rich Day Cream (AUD $99.00).

Roderick says of their campaign stars, “our exclusive interviews with inspiring high-profile women who show real strength and bravery. INIKA is running several interviews with women in the public eye who are breaking down barriers or have overcome adversity. From LGBTQ+ advocate and superstar comedic genius Sam Andrew, to rising AFLW star, Carlton player Maddy Prespakis, these are women we want to celebrate who we believe embody the #LOVEorganic message of love without boundaries.”

Maddy is an Aussie Rules footballer player for the Women’s Carlton Football Club. She is a force to be reckoned with and continues to challenge stereotypes within her field and champion change for future women in sport. Maddy joined the campaign “to show my organic love and the importance of it no matter who you are.”

Sam Andrew is a bright young composer, actress, writer and comedian with an upcoming show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival – No Hat, No Play! . As a passionate comedian and rights advocate, she shows us that laughter and love can really heal the soul. She spreads light and joy through her huge social following of 150,000+ and at her hilariously funny comedy shows. Andrew says, “I wanted to be a part of the campaign because talking about love allows me to reflect on the people in my life who have and continue to make an impact on the way in which I move around the world. Whilst talking about emotions and something as vulnerable as love can make us feel exposed it equally helps us grow as humans.”

The LOVEorganic Mother’s Day campaign

The brand says “Shine a spotlight on someone you find inspirational and/or love by sharing a photo of them on social media, and explaining why they inspire you.”

This “$2,000 social media competition is from us to you,” says Roderick. “To enter, participants must post a photo with someone they love and spread the love with the hashtag #LOVEorganic. It’s a simple message with a heartfelt goal.”
