“A business has to be evolving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative interests.” – Richard Branson

As we embark a new year there are many questions facing business leaders. Economic recovery is a central element to these, but it is also clear that there are many other drivers to support business development and performance. Innovation is one of the key demands for organisations and none more so than those in the aesthetics industry. As customer expectations continue to increase rapidly there is a need to reflect innovation and creativity in the business environment.

In 2014 Professional Beauty will launch the Innovation Forum, a new event which aims to bring together leaders from within the industry to discuss and debate new trends. The forum is a breakfast event hosted in a round-table format with a number of presenters illustrating new innovations across different product categories. The forum also includes a general briefing on current industry trends and group Q&A and discussion.

Working in partnership with our sponsors, the forum will showcase a number of new product development trends in an informal and interactive environment. Providing attendees with an opportunity to engage directly with peers and product experts, our objective is to raise the profile of industry views and discussion.

The inaugural Innovation Forum will be hosted in central Sydney in February 2014 and a report will be distributed through our newsletter subscriber database at professionalbeauty.com.au.

Attendance for salon owners will be via exclusive invitation and additional events for Melbourne and Brisbane are in the pipeline.
