Combining the dynamic worlds of beauty, rejuvenation and wellbeing, the Sydney International Spa and Beauty Expo is one of the largest trade events in Australia. Taking place over Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 August 2014, the annual beauty and spa instalment is gearing up for another year of success.
To represent the spirit of this year’s show, the Beauty Expo team chose the stunning session image from renowned hair stylist Lauren McCowan and makeup artist Amelia Axton. This hero image will be used on both the official website and amongst all visual materials for the 2014 show. The image has been published in Essentials magazine, Fashion Gone Rogue and the ‘While We Were Dreaming’ fashion exhibition.
On selecting this year’s hero shot, Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo event director Julia Erben said, “from hair, nails and brows to makeup, this year’s image embodies how the worlds of spa and beauty work together to create a finished look, which is exacting what we wanted. We could not be more excited to have such a stunning visual as the 2014 Beauty Expo stamp.”
Boasting a brand new waterside venue at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Glebe Island Peninsula, this year’s Sydney Spa and Beauty Expo is set to bring a range of fresh features to the line-up. Tickets on sale June 2014.
