Cosmoprof sets the stage for learning ‒ and earning

Cosmoprof Asia, the leading beauty B2B event in the Asia-Pacific region, is more than just a treasure trove of beauty products − it is the centre stage for the latest insights and trends of the cosmetics industry.

According to the fair’s organisers, this year’s event will give visitors the opportunity to increase their market knowledge with an extensive program of events and seminars across the fair’s two venues (AsiaWorld-Expo and the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center).

Highlights include:

Cosmotalks
This is a series of seminars to be held at both AWE and HKCEC. At AWE, the seminars will focus on topics related to the cosmetic industry such as innovation and research, formulation, cutting-edge natural raw materials, and eco-sustainable design and new packaging solutions. At HKCEC the seminars will focus on the local and global trends that are affecting the development of the industry including luxury cosmetics, millennials, the digital landscape, and sales and product development strategies.

Spa Conference
Celebrating its 10th edition this year, the Spa Conference will focus on the industry’s trends, novelties and economic development. It will be held in the HKCEC’s Forum with managers and representatives from the most prestigious hotel associations leading the panel of speakers.

Natural & Organic Symposium
Held in conjunction with the debut of Cosmoprof’s new Natural & Organic zone, the Natural & Organic Symposium in the HKCEC’s Forum will feature three sessions devoted to the analysis of the natural and organic cosmetics market. Topics under discussion will include the main trends, opportunities and challenges, marketing and distribution strategies and consumer expectations.

 Cosmoprof Onstage
“Beauty trends come to life” on the main stage of Hall 5C in the HKCEC with live shows and demo sessions on nail art creations, make-up techniques, beauty treatments and innovative products, etc. However the highlight of the event will be the K-Beauty Shows which will feature thematic seminars and live demonstration showcasing the country’s best beauty trends.

Hong Kong Professional Nailist Union Competition 2017
This nail competition will see more than 200 contestants from around the world compete in eight categories, including French Sculpture, One Tone Sculpture, Gel Manicure, Flat Art Tip Design, Fantasy Nail Art, Mix Media Boxed Nail Art, Manicure Art and Vocational College Manicuring.
