Medtech Symposium set for Sydney

The fifth annual Medtech Symposium will be held in Sydney on July 1-2.

Organised by Medi Spa Solutions trainer Mariza Nuttall, the event promises to cover all the latest innovative technology impacting the professional beauty industry – locally and internationally.

Topics covered at this year’s event include:

  • Radio Frequency (Mono, Bio and Tri)
  • Plasma Wave
  • Ultrasound
  • Cavitational therapy
  • Coaxmed Fat freeze
  • HiFu
  • V-shaped face treatments
  • GAP Treatments
  • Skin needling
  • DDT therapy

Mariza says she launched the symposium in 2013 to “focus primarily on new methodologies and case studies carried out by nano scientists and researchers from different universities around the globe”.

“The whole reason for me hosting the Medtech Symposium is to empower my fellow colleagues and myself.

“It’s not always economical or practical travelling overseas to attend this level of training in Europe, but our industry needs great training.”

The key speaker at this year’s symposium will be Dr Gregoris Stavrou, a nano scientist who was also a presenter at last year’s event.

Dr Stavrou’s presentations will explain how clients’ health issues (such as hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, infections, skin disorders, neurological disorders, bone and joint disorders and diabetes) affect the results of high tech treatments.

The other two keynote speakers are Gay Wardle, a skin specialist and one of Australia’s most awarded salon owners, and Kiri Maree, a global strategist who lives by her ‘No Excuses. No Limitations. No Buts’ mantra.
